The schools run by Vidya Jyothi Trust , are recognized by the Government of Tamilnadu. SJNS Jain School was started with L.K.G classes on 4th October 1984, on a Vijayadasami day. And now, It has grown into four schools as three Nursery and Primary schools and one Matriculation Higher Secondary School. All the schools follow the Matriculation Syllabus of Tamilnadu State Government till class 10th and Higher secondary syllabus of Tamilnadu State Government in classes 11th &12th.

All the Trustees of Vidya Jyothi Trust are very active in their participation of the Schools activities. They closely watch regularly the institutional activities and advice the heads of the schools for the effective functioning of the institutions. The Trust has also formed two committees S.J.N.S. Jain Vidhyalala Matriculation Higher Secondary School Committee and S.J.N.S. Jain Nursery and Primary Schools Committee who meet at regular intervals to monitor the effective functioning of the institutions.
